The 2025 CBSE Class 10 and 12 results might be delayed due to Mission Sindoor
Every year, CBSE results are announced in the month of May. Students work really hard for the board exams, and they, along with their parents, eagerly await the long-anticipated results. This year too, the results were expected to be announced on May 2 but were not released. However, CBSE never officially announces the result date and time in advance; rather, it comes as a surprise for the eagerly waiting students. The board results are something that create curiosity even among relatives and neighbors.
Around 44 lakh students appeared for the CBSE 2025 board exams, with approximately 25 lakh students from Class X and around 18 lakh students from Class XII. Based on reviews received from students and professionals regarding the difficulty level of the exams, the Class X Mathematics (Standard) paper and the Class XII Physics paper were considered more difficult this year. As parents, students, and schools rush to check the results immediately after they are announced, it often leads to the websites crashing or hanging. ● SMS( format of which will be released later by CBSE)
The digital marksheets can also be downloaded via DigiLocker once access is provided by the school.
Board results are usually announced after 10 a.m. This year, they are expected to be announced anytime soon, but due to the rising tensions between India and Pakistan, the announcement may be delayed, as the country’s larger issues are currently being prioritized. However, the results are still expected to be announced by May 15

Though the board results are considered to be of great importance, those who have appeared for the exam should never forget that they are just a part and parcel of life and will not determine their entire future. One should accept the results gracefully and move forward with the most suitable options.
