Arbaaz Khan comment in recent interview
In a recent interview with Brut, Nihal Ranjit quizzed the stars of the movie ‘Patna Shuka,’ Ravina Tandon, Anushka Kaushik, and producer Arbaaz Khan on their knowledge of GenZ lingo. The trio was asked about common GenZ slang and phrases used by the younger generation, typically aged between 18 and 25. In today’s age, nobody wants to experience FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), especially when parents strive to connect with their GenZ kids and be as cool as them.
Ravina Tandon was questioned about the meaning of the word ‘Rizz,’ to which she responded that she had heard it from her daughter and associated it with being cool. However, she couldn’t pinpoint its exact meaning. ‘Rizz’ actually means charismatic and is often used in a flirtatious manner.
When asked about the meaning of ‘situations,’ Arbaaz Khan quickly clarified that Arbaaz Khan is no longer into such arrangements as Arbaaz Khan is now a married man. The term refers to a romantic relationship that isn’t considered formal or official. For the word ‘ghosting,’ Ravina Tandon cleverly and humorously remarked that it’s something she’s going to do with the host after the shoot. In reality, ‘ghosting’ means abruptly ending a relationship without any communication.
The confusing slang term ‘Drip’ was also brought up during the Brut interview, which none of the guests, including Anushka Kaushik, could answer. Ravina defended herself by claiming she knew the answer but wanted to see if others did. The host explained that ‘Drip’ refers to someone’s fashion being cool and nice.
The duo of guests engaged in a playful argument, with Arbaaz justifying his lack of answers by pointing out that Ravina has the advantage of having a young daughter at home. Ravina quickly retorted, jokingly questioning if Arbaaz had a 50-year-old son. Interestingly, both their children are friends and have just a three-year age gap.
Arbaaz also spoke about how well his married life is treating him, mentioning that his relationship is three years old and he’s currently enjoying his honeymoon period.
